Project objective: Creating a modern road management system, strengthening control and preventing conflicts of interest in the road industry, creating conditions for extensive involvement of private sector enterprises in the industry, and improving the efficiency of budgetary funds utilization.
Key tasks:
- develop, in collaboration with relevant ministries and agencies, a draft presidential decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
- gradually reform the industry by involving the private sector.
- regularly report information and proposals to the country’s leadership on solving problems that hinder the effective implementation of reforms.
