Country Platform – is a country-led mechanism aimed at organizing coordinated interaction with development partners in the development and implementation of programs and projects in the socio-economic development of Uzbekistan.

Overall purpose of the Country Platform is to assist the Government of Uzbekistan in achieving the goals outlined in the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026, by means of  1) facilitate the development of a shared understanding of sector-level priorities and strategies to meet the goals of the national development strategy; 2) mobilize in a coordinated way international expertise and resources to inform the development and implementation of sector investment programs of significant socio-economic impact to address these priorities; and 3) attract the finance needed for sustainable development in strategic sectors of the economy, while coordinating and maximizing its impact.
