Jonathan Charles and Sherzodkhoja Kudratkhoja, Rector of the University of Journalism and Mass Communications and Chairman of the National Media Association of Uzbekistan met at the initiative of the Strategic Development Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan (SDA).
The state and future of the field of training qualified personnel for the media and press services, modern Uzbekistan’s reforms aimed at promoting freedom of speech and transparency in the management and operations of the state, as well as techniques and tools for public and governmental communications, were all discussed in the format of an open dialogue.
After the discussion, it was decided to develop a combined project between the SDA and the University of Journalism to provide specific courses for university students and current press and media representatives.
