In November of last year, a training program for young leaders drawn from among the Republic of Uzbekistan’s government workers was started by the Strategic Development Agency, the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, and the Ministry of Government Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.
Remember that the Young Leaders project was officially launched as part of Dubai EXPO 2020 with the assistance of Sardor Umurzakov, the deputy prime minister and minister of foreign trade and investment of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
22 Uzbek ministry representatives are involved in the project. professionals from the Strategic Development Agency among others.
The primary training phases are covered by the project, including leadership, public finance, future forecasting, pioneering ground-breaking innovations, crisis management, politics, strategic management, performance management, leadership through the media, and citizen participation in communication.
These thematic areas have already been covered in 46 hours of online instruction. The practical portion has now begun, including offline training of project participants at the pertinent UAE ministries.
Each project participant should produce an idea for the development of the selected direction as a consequence of the training session, with the help of experts from pertinent UAE ministries. This concept can then be put into reality right away in their ministries and departments.
