Therefore, the activities of the faculty are aimed at training managers and professionals in modern methods of management and business, improving competitiveness, and introducing new technologies in different sectors of economic and social development of the state.
Director-General of the Strategic Development Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov, speaking at the opening ceremony, noted:
“At present, in the prevailing conditions of development of the world economy, there is an urgent need to promptly make well-considered and balanced decisions, as well as to determine the right vectors of development of the country. In this context, the availability of specialists with analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work for results is a key factor.
In this regard, as well as to implement the objectives of the New Uzbekistan Development Strategy for 2022-2026 in terms of the development of human capital of the country, we took a joint decision to introduce a modern retraining program for local leaders.
Such programs have proven their effectiveness in many countries of the world and make it possible to increase the potential of the managerial staff of civil servants. The programs are aimed at developing leadership skills, creative ideas for scaling, increasing the effectiveness of managerial decisions, competent management of indicators, and risk analysis.
In my opinion, modern managers must have rational and pragmatic thinking, developed emotional intelligence, creativity, and openness to innovation. The leader must inspire and proactively ensure the implementation of effective reforms”.
Thus, in order to improve the effectiveness of work on the implementation of the new mechanism for attracting investment in the regions, advanced training courses for deputy hоkims on investments in the field of strategic planning, industrial development, and support for entrepreneurs have been launched.
The project is jointly organized by MIFT, SDA and UWED
As the organizers noted, the importance of this program is that the leaders of the regions, during the training period, feel like one integral team. They began to consult together, to look for optimal solutions. That this will give an additional dynamic to the development of the regions of our country.
Participants are required to use their knowledge to the maximum extent possible to meet the challenges facing the regions, which will contribute to the qualitative improvement of local managers.
