Today, the “Week of Open Dialogue” with entrepreneurs started in Tashkent. The main axes of Uzbekistan’s private sector development were divided up into separate panel sessions. Some of them include a number of them, including the development of agriculture, tax and customs duties, public procurement, the stock market, and supporting international and local enterprises by giving them incentives and preferences. There were nine sessions in total, and the leaders of the pertinent ministries and departments were present at each one.
Both online and offline, entrepreneurs from all parts of the nation engaged. There are many inquiries for state officials in charge of coordinating communications between the public and commercial sectors.
For instance, today’s company leaders discussed the necessity of streamlining the process and speeding up the subsidies application process;
the development of an online business platform where all the information required to encourage entrepreneurship would be provided;
improved access to long-term, competitive finance;
infrastructure for small industrial zones;
assistance for small businesses.
Tomorrow, August 18, the panel sessions will go on as scheduled. The improvement of the energy sector, funding and lending to enterprises, the actions of government agencies and their interference in the economy, and the granting of permits, licenses, and certifications are the main themes.
